Kristi and Ann are founding members of The Harmonia Ensemble. Both musicians look forward to playing for your special event and discussing your wishes so that it is exactly the event you desire!

Kristi Coleman-Dorland

Violinist Kristi Coleman-Dorland graduated from McGill University with a degree in Music Performance studying with Mauricio Fuks and Richard Roberts (concertmaster of Orchestra Symphonique de Montreal). While in Montreal, she was an orchestral member in Gilbert and Sullivan productions and other orchestras within the Montreal area. She has played for Drayton Entertainment, Grand River Dinner Cruises (Blazing Fiddles), Canadian Children’s Opera Company, as well as many other groups in Southwestern Ontario. Kristi is the Associate Concertmaster of the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra and also frequently plays for the Kingston Symphony Orchestra as well as being an active freelance violinist throughout Toronto and Southwestern Ontario. 

Kristi has a thriving teaching studio in Cambridge where many professional musicians receive their early training.

Ann Green

Ann Green holds an Honours Bachelor of Music in Church Music and a Bachelor of Education from Wilfrid Laurier University as well as a Masters of Music from Western University. She performs as a violist, violinist, organist, pianist and singer. She was the founding conductor of the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, and has acted as Music Director for the Mayor's Celebration of the Arts and Music and Lights in the Village, both of Cambridge.

 

Ann owned and operated Beyond the Clef Music School in Downtown Hespeler Village for 11 years where she taught lessons and conducted annual teacher training seminars. Presently, she teaches in her private music studio, Music at 221 St. Andrews in Cambridge.  In 2005, Ann won the The Bernice Adams Memorial Award for Music for her involvement in the Arts.
